My journey-prologue

Dawn and I had just finished watching a special about a Shiny Gyarados that was spotted at Twinleaf's local lake: Lake Verity. I chuckled at my little sister's excited face. She wasn't yet old enough to start her journey but I was. Let me introduce myself-I'm Airelle, Dawn's older sister. Mom was a Coordinator but I'd rather be a Trainer, contests don't really interest me. Dawn on the other had, wants to follow in mom's footsteps. Mom always said that despite being totally different-we're as close as best friends. Speaking of friends-Dawn has a lot of friends around town, all of them are the same age as her. I've only got two friends in this town though. Both are the same age as me as well. One is Barry's older brother. Barry is one of Dawn's friends but unlike his younger brother, Ralph is laidback and mellow. My other friend is named Sarah and she's the hyper air head around town. I'm the brains of the group one could say. Anyway, all three of us agreed to meet up at the lakefront to hang out like usually. Dawn and the others wanted to tag along but we told them that all we were going to do was talk about what we were going to do once our journeys started. Little did any of us know that was going to change.
